Donation helps program expand job training for at-risk youth

A program that provides an alternative to incarceration for teenagers in Harlem is expanding its computer lab, thanks to a $40,000 donation from the Hispanic Federation and our parent company Spectrum.

The money will help the nonprofit Avenues for Justice expand its career and life skills training in hopes of helping these teens turn things around.

Participants in this program report to the community center after school. Avenues for Justice keeps the courts updated on their progress.
